WMT pioneered China’s direct-drive pump era in waterjet cutting. In 2014, the first-generation servo direct-drive pump was launched, cutting energy use by 60% compared with traditional 37kW hydraulic pumps and eliminating leakage and maintenance issues.

In 2024, WMT introduced the second-generation direct-drive pump, featuring higher efficiency (up to 80% faster cutting), stronger components, and an intelligent control system with mobile app monitoring and remote support, delivering smarter, more efficient, and reliable performance.
